Harry Wareham

Harry began watercolor painting in 1994 after retiring from the U S Navy. Mostly self-taught, he has painted with Charles Reid, David Taylor and Iain Stewart. He has won many awards in local juried competitions.

Harry is a long-standing member of Central Coast Art Association. He was an original volunteer docent at the Point Sur Light station State Park and the first treasurer of Central Coast Lighthouse Keepers. Prints of his paintings are sold at the Point Sur State Park visitor’s center for the benefit of the park. His art is displayed in the Johnson Gallery in Port Orford, Oregon. He and his wife Amy are residents of Monterey and Port Orford

In addition to watercolor painting, Harry enjoys traveling, physical fitness, reading, crosswords and cooking.  Harry enjoys painting all subjects, indoors and out. He welcomes commissions for people, pets, homes, follies and fantasies.
